What is Fayez?
Fayez (فَيْض), literally meaning "overflow" or "effusion," is defined in Muhammadi Islam as the direct divine flow of energy emanating from the Supreme Allah. It is not a tangible, external object, but rather a subtle, continuous stream of divine love and energy — akin to spiritual tranquility (Sakina) — that perpetually sustains the entire universe.
Fayez is considered the "foundation of religion," as it purifies the soul, awakens the heart, and enables a believer to attain profound closeness to Allah. It is through Fayez that spiritual knowledge (Ilm-e-Ma'arifat) truly enters the heart, transforming the seeker from within.
Why is Fayez Essential?
Fayez plays a critical role in a believer's spiritual journey. Its reception and cultivation is the very mechanism through which the heart is prepared to receive divine light and attain closeness to Allah.

Crucial for cultivating and deepening genuine, boundless love for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the heart.

How to Attain Fayez
The primary method for a believer to receive Fayez is through consistent and focused practice of Muraqaba (spiritual contemplation). Under the guidance of an authorised spiritual guide (Murshid), seekers learn to open their Qalb (spiritual heart) to receive these divine emanations.
The Murshid acts as a conduit, transmitting Fayez to the seeker's heart, thereby facilitating inner purification and accelerating the spiritual journey towards Allah.
Regular Dhikr (remembrance of Allah) and adherence to the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also enhance the reception of Fayez, opening the heart further to the continuous divine flow.
