The Holy Quran: Allah's Ultimate Guidance

The Holy Quran is the literal word of Allah, revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) over 23 years. It serves as the ultimate source of guidance, wisdom, and spiritual nourishment for all Muslims. In Muhammadi Islam, we emphasize internalizing the Quran's messages, not just reciting them, to truly transform one's life.

This section presents a curated selection of pivotal Quranic verses that form the bedrock of our core beliefs and spiritual practices, providing profound insights into the essence of creation, divine purpose, and human responsibility.

“This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah.”
— Surah Al-Baqarah (2:2)

Selected Quranic Verses (with Translation & Commentary)

Here are some fundamental verses from the Holy Quran, crucial for understanding the spirit of Muhammadi Islam.

On the Oneness of Allah (Tawheed)

Qul Huwal-lahu Ahad. Allahus-Samad. Lam yalid wa lam yoolad. Wa lam yakul-lahu kufuwan ahad.
Translation: “Say: He is Allah, [the] One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born. Nor is there to Him any equivalent.”
Commentary: This Surah concisely defines Tawheed (Oneness of Allah), affirming His absolute uniqueness, self-sufficiency, and unparalleled nature. It is a cornerstone of Muhammadi Islam's belief system, emphasizing that Allah is unlike anything in creation.

On the Love and Obedience to the Prophet (PBUH)

Qul in kuntum tuhibbūnal-lāha fattabiʿūnī yuḥbibkumullāhu wa yaghfir lakum dhunūbakum; wal-lāhu Ghafūrur-Raḥīm.
Translation: “Say, [O Muhammad], 'If you should love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.'”
Commentary: This pivotal verse highlights the indispensable link between loving Allah and following Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). In Muhammadi Islam, being an Ashiq-e-Rasul (Lover of the Prophet) is not merely a virtue but a necessary path to attain Allah's love and forgiveness, emphasizing the Prophet's exemplary life as the practical embodiment of faith.

On the Purpose of Creation and Human Responsibility

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ
Wa mā khalaqtul-jinna wal-insa illā liya`budūn.
Translation: “And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.”
Commentary: This verse concisely articulates the profound purpose of human existence: to worship Allah. In Muhammadi Islam, worship is understood comprehensively, encompassing not just rituals but every aspect of life lived in conscious remembrance and obedience to Allah.
“And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?”
— Surah Al-Qamar (54:17)
