What Does it Mean to be an Ashiq-e-Rasul?
Ashiq-e-Rasul (عاشق رسول) translates to “Lover of the Messenger” or “Lover of the Prophet.” In Muhammadi Islam, this concept goes beyond mere respect or admiration; it signifies a profound, boundless, and all‑encompassing love for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). “None of you will believe until I am dearer to him than his father, his children, and all mankind.”— Bukhari & Muslim
